In the western world, the lights are already glowing and shining. In the shopping malls,Santa has already taken his usual position to create those lasting memories for kids. The radios’ playlists reflects the Christmas mood with songs that reminds us that it’s about time to go home for Christmas. It is that time of the year.
A huge difference between how Christmas is celebrated in the western world and how the same goes down in Africa,is the level of noises and lights.In Africa,lights don’t matter that much even though growing up I remember seeing a Christmas tree at my grandpa’s living room with cotton pieces indicating “snow”. Without lights though…it was noisy. In North America,for example, Christmas goes very quiet. Streets are usually empty. If you walk around you can only hear distant sounds of music coming from basements.
